I had occasion to do some research for a friend on a piece of silver with the mark attributed to Anna Eicher. In other place, however, I have seen pieces with the same mark attributed to both Anna and Heinrich Eicher? Does anyone know which is correct? I have checked the other postings on the Eichers, and I am hoping that wev, with his family connection, might shed some light on this.

I am waiting for the publication of a new book on the Metalsmiths of Chicago for possible new information on the Eichers, their work and marks. I do not have a date for publication and I hope it comes soon.
