I posted this this morning but it is not showing up as posted. I have 4 forks that are very ornate in design and in mint condition. The back is stamped Gorham, the anchor symbol and Pat. 87. The handle has 3 points on the edge. There is a lot of scrolling down the handle. Most significant is about 1/2" from the edge of the handle, tilting to the right is a crown about 3/8" x 3/8" big. It has a cross on top. I can email a picture if you need one. The back handle has a bit of scrolling about 1/2" from the edge in the middle of the handle and at the base of the handle right below the stamp. The fork measures 6 7/8" long with 4 tines. I am trying to identify the pattern, what year these were made and the value. Thank you very much for your time and assistance. IP: Logged |
