I have eight place settings of Lunt silver flatware in the William & Mary pattern, circa 1972. The silver has never been used. Looking for value and interested buyer. Have some odd pieces also in same pattern. IP: Logged |

The William & Mary pattern was introduced by Lunt in 1921. I believe the pattern may still be actively made by Lunt. Therefore it is possible that your items were made in 1972. It would be interesting to compare your 1972 pieces with same pieces which were made in 1921, to see if there are differences. Valuations are not made in this forum but rather the science/art of the appraisal is what is discussed. If you are seeking a professional appraisal please complete the form at: http://www.smpub.com/appraisals/whatsitworth.html If you are seeking a buyer then you should post a complete list of what you have on the For Sale Forum www.smpub.com/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&number=6 [Note: This message has been edited by Scott Martin] IP: Logged |
