I have a large serving spoon that has a stamp on the back '1847 RogersBros' and then the letters 'I' 'S'. Does anybody know what the name of the flatware is and when it was produced? Thanks so much! Rorie IP: Logged |

Without a posted photograph or a detailed description of your spoon there isn't much anyone can do to identify your pattern. These prior posts might be of interest: From post entitled 1847 Rogers Bros quote: From post entitled i found a spoon!!! quote: IP: Logged |

1847 Rogers was, and is, the "prestige" brand of silver plate produced by International Silver Company (I.S. stands for International Silver). If you can describe the pattern, we can probably identify it for you, although a picture would be preferable. Brent IP: Logged |
