I just purchased a silver plated pitcher (it stands 6 inches tall) and I was hoping someone out there might be able to tell me something about it. The marks are as follows...on the bottom there is a number 34 and then bellow it are the numbers: 4193. To the left side of the handle there is a ornately carved number 7. It is a very ornate piece with a lot of scroll work and it is very heavy considering it is so small. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a great day! IP: Logged |

Hello. Are there any marks besides the numbers, such as symbols? Are these numbers stamped in, or lightly scratched? Is it possible to post a picture of the piece/marks? Actually seeing the design and marks could considerably help identify the origin, date, etc. IP: Logged |

Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. I have been all over the forum and have found nothing on how to add a picture. Once I know how, I will gladly send some one. Thanks again and looking fowards to finding out something about this piece. IP: Logged |

To post photos in a Silver Salon Forum the process is similar to putting a photo on eBay but it is easier. IP: Logged |
