Could this be Jesse Kip's mark?

Jesse Kip died in 1722 which is a mite early for a coffin handle. That said, I don't recognize the mark; Jesse Kendall of Delaware, perhaps?

Looks more continental than American to me.

The style of the marks, with the exaggerated length of the rectangle, the rough serrations and the crude letters, makes me think of Thomas Kinne(y) of Norwich, CT. The shape of the spoon, with the very long coffin end, resembles his work as well. Your mark here certainly appears to be a J.K., though. Perhaps there was a relative with those initials. Bohan & Hammerslough list an I. Kinne as well as Thomas, although they give no other information and no one else does either. Still, the similarities are there.
