This coffin-ended spoon is about 4 4/16ths of an inch long and is by T. Campbell. It looks altered (the bowl) to me, but it if had a full sized bowl it would seem out of proportion to the handle. It's also kind of an odd shaped bowl. Any thoughts?

I have a number of salts with the same oddly proportioned bowls. Two are coffins nearly identical to yours; this one

is perhaps a touch later in date and made by W. H. Whitton. Another, by G. W. Platt, is even more exaggerated. All the bowls seem, as you say, out of sync with the form. Whether this indicates a sudden passion for salt or a brief design quirk, I can't say, but it does seem intentional.
