I got this several years ago and put it away. I have been thinking about it and thought I'd share it with everyone. What do you think are the relationships? Who do you think JCW is?

In his American Silversmiths tree, WEV use to have two listings for Westervelt. But they are too early.

Unfortunately, the full information of John's family will have to wait till I re-build my site. For know here is a portion showing the descent down from his great-grandparents, Cornelius and Wyntje (Berritt) Westervelt: Westervelt line I have found nothing on John's wife Catherine Gorham. The 1880 census did list 3 children at home, including Walter, born 1860, whose occupation is given as silversmith. [This message has been edited by wev (edited 03-21-2003).] IP: Logged |

The "J W C" monogram could be John Westervelt Clark, son of Alfred B and Catherine W Clark. Catherine W was John L and Catherine G Westervelt's daughter. [This message has been edited by bascall (edited 06-28-2008).] IP: Logged |
