From the look of the mark, it is one of the vast army of unknown retailers, but perhaps someone else has run across it.

Robert Allen Green lists a T. A. Williams as a jeweler working in Orange MA from his own collection of jeweler's trade cards.

The Green book may have more on this gentleman, but it looks like he is Thaddeus Addison Williams who was a jeweler in Springfield, Massachusetts in the 1860 U S Federal Census. He also appears in the 1850 U S Federal Census for Springfield but not as a jeweler or in a related trade. In 1870 he is in Brooklyn, New York and is a retired jeweler. In 1880 he is a watchmaker in Orange, Massachusetts.

Thaddeus was born in Massachusetts in about 1815. His wife was Lucretia S and he had a daughter named Minnie E.

In 1895 Lucretia S is listed in the Orange, Massachusetts City Directory at 103 East Main as Thaddeus's widow.
