Today, I found several more coin silver spoons in my father's estate marked "Coin R.GODLEY." Stamped with a Lion in a circle, J&G in a triangle, and an Eagle in a circle. I have looked for an hour in the only silver book I have, but for me it like reading a road map from China. Can anyone please help me identify this spoon. Thank you for your help, Carl IP: Logged |

The J & G mark is for the firm of (Samuel)Johnson & (Richard) Godley of Albany NY, working c 1843-1850. IP: Logged |

I believe this mark belongs to the partnership of Samuel Johnson and Richard Godley who worked in Albany, New York, c.1843 to 1850. IP: Logged |
