If you look on the righthand side of each entry, you will see an example of each mark. They must have used them on different size pieces, or different time periods. IP: Logged |

If you have access to back issues of Silver Magazine, you can see a discussion of some of the marks of both of these men, including the orignal attributions of two of the initial marks, and the spoons they are found on, in Part II of my article The Wandering Woodcocks of Pennsylvania: Bancroft, Isaac, and John in the November-December 1991 issue, pp. 8-11 (Part I is in September-October pp. 9-12, and includes the chronology of their movements).
