Hey everyone just trying to find out if the name I see on this spoon is the maker or not. I know the pic isn't that good but the name has some wear but it looks like ira s town there may be a letter after the s and before the t because of the wear I am not sure any help appreciated . Thanks

yes that is exactly the same mark the spoon is real light even has a name on the opposite side maybe who he made it for looks like l buit possibly wild looking script do you think its coin silver or what? I just like it never found a spoon like this before thanks arthur IP: Logged |

It is coin silver. Since he ran a "silver spoon manufactory," it was probably made by him or someone else in his employ. IP: Logged |
