John S Abbott is found in Bethel Maine in the 1860 U S Federal Census, and his occupation is watchmaker. In the 1870 U S Federal Census, he is in Conneaut, Ohio working as a jeweler. The 1880 U S Federal Census for Conneaut, Ohio shows his widow working as a Fancy Goods Dealer. IP: Logged |

In the 1850 U S Federal Census for Montpelier, Vermont, there is a 19 year old Vermont born jeweler named Edwin L Ray listed in John's household. In the 1870 U S Federal Census for Morgan, Missouri, Edwin is listed as a silversmith. In the 1880 U S Federal Census for St Louis, Missouri, Edwin is listed as a watchmaker. In the 1900 U S Federal Census for Dunellon, Florida, Edwin is listed as a watchmaker. In the 1910 U S Federal Census for Dunellon, Florida, Edwin is listed as a jeweler. IP: Logged |
