I recently obtained a Landers Frary & Clark Universal thermos set an I can not find out anything about it. There are two identical thermos' in a leather case. They appear to be silver (but may not be) with glass liners and corks to seal them. The bases have patents dating from Oct.13, 1914 to Mar.13, 1917. Can anyone tell me about them or where I can find out more? Thanks, Chris IP: Logged |

Landers Frary Clark produced the Universal thermos from about 191? to the 1960's. They are not known to have produced a silver thermos. The Local History Room of the New Britain [CT] Public Library houses the only known Universal catalog pages. IP: Logged |
