No luck in finding this mark, so here I am. I put it in the last post as the mark is a bit crude. Then I thought why not ask. This appears on a waste bowl 8 in wide by 6 inch deep and 6 inch high. I have been unable to locate the mark. The person I bought it from said it is Kentucky but I sort of doubt that. Any assistance would be appreciated. IP: Logged |

In case you haven't had a chance to check Boultinghouse yet, the only possible TI from Kentucky I see would be Thomas Johnson, c.1850s-70s, which seems a bit late. Nothing about its form screams Kentucky to me, so I'm inclined to agree with you there. Beyond that, I'm afraid I have little to offer. IP: Logged |

I checked Boultinghouse but found no entries that would match the intials TI or a name that would have had those starting letters. IP: Logged |

Any chance you can post a clearer picture of the overall piece? It might help with the identification, as I cannot tell what the design is like on the base. IP: Logged |

Well, hopefully this is the last correction. This is the waste bowl in it full blown glory. IP: Logged |
