Our member Bacall was kind enough to send me a scan of a Waltham Watch Company ad that ran in the 18 May 1861 issue of the paper. It lists 87 jewelers and watchmakers in six states that vouched for the quality of the company's goods. A good number of those listed are already in my project and a little research has allowed me to add nine more:

The Whig and Courier Pub in Bangor, ME was one of my favorite haunts in college-they made a mean tequila colada!
