Above is a bright cut 9 ½ inch serving spoon that has my favorite engraving of a dogwood blossom with trailing bell flowers. The trailing bell flowers design was also a favorite inlaid pattern of cabinet makers. This spoon has the mark of David Tyler of Boston who died in 1804 so this spoon is sometime before that date. Tyler’s marks are shown in Belden; however Kane does not have a heading for David Tyler and only mentions him when discussing other silversmiths. She does not show any marks for him. Perhaps David had limited output as a silversmith. The mark on this spoon appears to be mark a in Belden.

This must be a favorite pattern as I have a svg spoon with the same decoration but the mono is in block letters. He started around 1780 in Boston so I would think he had a decent output of silver.
Do you have an image of the bowl drop?
