Does anyone have a good example of the mark used by James Lockwood of New York? I shall never be able to say Thank You enough times for all the assistance offered on past questions. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you ad infinitum........... IP: Logged |

Darling doesn't illustrate a mark (in case you don't have it to check). I can't remember if I have an example, but will keep it in mind next time I'm going through the NY drawer.... IP: Logged |

The mark is shown in Belden, under his name, and also in combination with marks of Colin Van Gelder Forbes (partnership of Forbes and Lockwood) and Thomas Milne. I thought I had posted the mark previously (the one with Milne), but the search doesn't bring it up. I will try to locate that piece or another and photograph it soon.
