Maybe they're too common to mention, but if not and presuming that one hasn't already been started, would starting a thread of shared pseudo hallmarks and other marks be worthwhile? Samuel Brown and James Merriman are just one example of shared pseudo hallmarks. There's one particular Paris, Kentucky mark that was used by a few makers, but it will take me a while to recollect them. Anway, just a thought.
