Here's a piece of engine turning from a Wood & Hughes youth set (minus a spoon) that was recently purchased. Thought I'd start a thread on this subject if anyone is interested. There may already be one, but no specific thread concerning engine turning came up under American Silver Before Sterling for me. A few names worth mentioning in the development of the process were Asa Spencer, Cyrus Durand and Henry Bessemer.

Thank you! I knew there was some information on the forum about this subject, but that's amazing. IP: Logged |
