Joseph Raynes established his shop at 69 Central Street in July of 1831. His son George joined him in 1860, the firm becoming J. RAYNES & Co. Son Harry entered the firm in 1866. At Joseph's death, the name changed to RAYNES BROTHERS. George left the firm in December of 1881, which was then continued by Harry as H. RAYNES, Jeweler. IP: Logged |
