Twins brothers Albert and Alpheus Shattuck appear together in the 1850 U S Federal Census for Providence, Rhode Island as jewelry workers.

Elder brother Warrell Shattuck was part of the Providence, Rhode Island jewelry manufacturing firm Potter & Shattuck.

Don't forget brothers William and George -- it was a one trade family.

Surprisingly, none of the children of these gentlemen appear to have carried on in their fathers trade except for maybe Charles A who was George W's son.

In 1870 George was working as a jeweler. In 1880 both George and Charles were listed in the U S Federal Census as manufacturers in Melrose, Massachusetts, but I do not know what they were manufacturing. George's occupations varied during his lifetime. In 1850 he was a shoemaker and later he spent time in education.
