argentum1 Posts: 602 Registered: Apr 2004	posted 07-01-2009 06:10 PM Hello once again. my question is who is this? I have a few guesses i.e., John Strangeway Hutton and a few others. The attribution given by the seller does not match date wise with a feather edge spoon. The I barred makes me think a mid 18th century piece, as well as it being a feather edge. IP: Logged

That is what I thought, too, when I saw it. if it is his it would be late for him (beyond his known working dates, and near his death) and early for the style - possibly by a journeyman or successor using his punch.
