Above are the marks for John Campbell of Montgomery, Alabama that is on a presentation cup and George Schoolfield of Columbia, Missouri that is on a creamer, most likely a premium for a Missouri state fair. The interesting thing for me is that both of these articles have a flower impressed over the name silversmith. The company that made both articles is unknown to me, but it is most likely the mark for a silver smith from a large manufacturer like Wood and Hughes. Has anyone seen this flower on an article of silver? IP: Logged |

Catherine Hollan is looking for the mark of Campbell & Yongue. Both of these men lived in South Carolina and Alabama. Their partnership appears to have occurred while both were in Montgomery Alabama. It was a short time partnership as Mr. Yongue moved back to South Carolina. If anyone has a copy of their mark Ms. Hollan would love to see it. IP: Logged |
