where you might discover something new. I was searching for something on the net and, as so often happens, found something else of interest. An antiquarian book site was offering one of those dreadful morality tales by the American Tract Society, c 1840. The description included Stamped 3 times inside cover "If not called for in ten days, return to E.C. Nine, General Silversmith, Amblersburg, W.Va." and "Elias Nine 1848" written in ink. I believe this is Elias Christian Nine, born 9 OCT 1818 in WV to Christian and Susan (Wolfe) Nine. He is unrecorded by Hollan. IP: Logged |
