By the kind courtesy of her descendants, I have been allowed to add Elizabeth Beckman's seminal work, Cincinnati Silversmiths, Jewelers, Watch And Clockmakers Through 1850, to my site. As the individual page images are perforce large, I have broken it down to a series of alphabetical pages, plus the preliminary and end matter. A PDF of the entire book is also available for download, but it is quite large (68 Megs), so be forewarned. If you come across any glitches, I would appreciate hearing of it. IP: Logged |

Wow! What a great resource, thank you and thanks to the family for letting this be put out there. I especially liked the diary excerpts from the silversmith Jacob Deterly. IP: Logged |
