I found the spoon above in Atlanta this weekend and post it simply because it has excellent detail of the basket of flowers and was retailed by D.B Nichols of Savanna, Georgia. This is a dessert size spoon and unfortunately the article by John McGrew in the March-April issue 1989 issue of the Silver Magazine only shows the Baskets of Flowers pattern on teaspoons. I do not see in his article a basket of flowers that matches this one and that is reasonable given the need to produce a die of a different size for a dessert size spoon.

Does anyone know of other studies of this pattern that may have included dessert spoons?
