Would this be another mark for Heydorn & Imlay of Hartford, CT? It does not match up with shown examples but comes close with the mark listed in Kovels. Or is it someone else? 9.25" serving spoon. Exhausted my limited library and go-to web resources...

Maybe it's just saying "Hi!" IP: Logged |

Would be great if it said "Hi - my name is..." Guess it could also be IH - can't find a match there either. IP: Logged |

Here is a picture of the bowl drop - maybe that might help in narrowing down an area of mfg. or maker.

Could this possibly be Henry Jackson of CT? I know that some silversmiths used I instead of J for religious reasons... IP: Logged |

I stumbled across a mark attributed to John Harmon of Greene County TN, (pg 102 in Tennessee Silversmiths book) that looks very close to this mark. He worked in Greenville, TN around this time frame. Think this might be made by him. Best fit so far... IP: Logged |
