Can anyone identify this pattern. I'd appreciate any help. IP: Logged |

This pattern is illustrated in Turner's American Silver Flatware under the name Cashmere. The paisley design relates to the patterns found on Cashmere (or Kashmir) shawls, which were popular with Victorian ladies. IP: Logged |

In my 10 years of collecting, I've only seen CASHMERE twice. I was able to snag the luncheon fork, 7 1/8" long. Can't remember what the other piece was. An acquaintance who has been in the silver game for much longer had only 3 pieces the last time I talked with her. IP: Logged |
