The swirls are in the shape of little crocodiles...... and being upside down sure makes it hard to keep the lids on the sugar bowls. That's not a Georgian knife....... this is!!!!! Fair-dinkum mate..... IP: Logged |

It is my understanding that the Australian silversmiths are exceptionaly skilled. The technique of hand raising vessels, while upside-down, requires great stamina and fortitude. I know that the technique is beyond my meager skills. We have it easy here in the Northern Hemisphere..... It is good for the soul not take life too seriously. I know of few who get out of it alive anyway... IP: Logged |
