![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have what I think is a silverplate sugar holder that holds a pink glass container it is 10" tall and 3 1/2" wide it has a place to hang a spoon or something. It has the following hallmark (H)(&)(H) and a eagle or bird and the number 20486 I would appreciate any information about this item thanks in advance. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A mark of H&H is recorded for Hall & Hewson of Albany New York around 1840 or so. I have no idea how this relates to the character of your piece. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The mark could be Hamilton & Hamilton, Providence, RI. They began business in the early 1870's and continued in some form into the 1970's (or later). IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() t is Hukin & Heath--Sheffield ENGLAND. The Newark Museum owns a plated lemon juicer with this mark. This firm also made the plated goods for Christopher Dresser's designs. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I think they were the first firm to manufacture Dresser's plated ware. James Dixon & Sons and Elkington also produced Dresser designs. I was mistaken about Sheffield, H&H were in Birmingham. IP: Logged |
