I have two sets 1) says WM. A. ROGERS TRIPLE 2) says SIMEON L & GEORGE H ROGERS COMPANY I am looking for information on it, a timeline on how old it is and when it might have been made. They belonged to a now 88 yr old person. The second one was a wedding gift. IP: Logged |

Both of these are probably 1920s plated wares--the period when there was an explosion in mass-marketed plated silver flatware. The patterns both sound like the sort of things you get at this period--conservative designs that are also very much of the 20th century--not quite modern, but not Victorian either, in their simplicity. If one was a wedding gift to a currently 88 year old, then you can pretty much bet that they date from the 1930s or even early 40s. IP: Logged |

The first pattern sounds like the Crest pattern (also known as Crestwood and also known as Wildcliff) introduced in 1930, manufactured then or later. The second pattern sounds somewhat like "Laureate", introduced in 1910. If so, the Oneida mark would indicate manufacture in 1929 or later. IP: Logged |
