Would like to know [..snip..] year produced on a Meriden B. Company (what looks like) a toothpick holder. A 3 inch little girl with long pigtail and flowing dress holding onto the rope of a big pouch or sack. It has above mark with the number 44 and says Quadruple plate on it. Seems to be silver plate. Your piece is probably from the 4th quarter of the 19th century, based on the form and what you say of the mark. I don't know any way to determine an exact year (short of an inscription). Curators are not allowed to comment on values--but there may be places on this site where you could pose this question and get some intelligent answers. IP: Logged |
