[01-0547] I have a question about a piece that I cannot place. It looks to be a silver plated or silver item that is shaped like a small flower vase at 7 3/4 inches high. It has two flowered ornate handles. It is signed on the bottom by what I believe is "MIDA BC" or "MIDA 13C" We've had it in the family for ages and I was wondering if anyone can give me information on what it is and where I could learn about it. Half way up, it has a ringed surface around the circumference where the handles attach, There is also a pattern engraved into it with flowers and peaks throughout. Item #273 is listed in the catalog section for Vases, Flower Stands, Etc. on page 372. The catalog was reprinted in 1982, ISBN#:0-486-24364-8 IP: Logged |
