Trying to find out who this silversmith is. I have a 3 piece tea set with no tray. Other than the silversmiths name, the other markings are Quad plate silver,hard white metal and the number 56. I can't seem to locate any info on this set. If anybody could help, I would appreciate it. IP: Logged |

E. G. Webster & Sons, the last incarnation of the firm begun by Elizur Webster in 1859, was in business from 1886 to 1928 in New York City. Though they did make some sterling goods, their main line was silverplate holloware such as your pieces and were known for their high quality chasing and reproductions of historic English designs.
