[01-0701] I own an ornately embossed silver metal tray (the kind used by caterers) and it is marked Made by N.C. Joseph Ltd. Stratford-on-Avon England. Have you any info on this manufacturer? TIA, Cyn

Cyn... For this piece to not have hallmarks it could be silver produced after 1991 or could be other than sterling. Could it be plate? I can find no reference to N. C. Joseph as a silversmith in Jackson's Hallmarks or 'Silver' by Langford. IP: Logged |

Thanks Crocodile Mark for your attempt to ID this item. It may be plate, I'm not even sure if its silver. The tray did have a lot of tarnish on it though, so maybe it is. I picked this up at a tag sale, so I have no history on it. I figured since the tray looked old that maybe it was IP: Logged |
