Hello: I recently acquired some silver pieces and need help identifying the makers. The first is a pair of silver candelabrum with a crown and the letters GSC, in squares, stamped on the bottom. They have two curved arms and hold three candles, very ornate. I will post a photo as soon as I figure out how to - smile. The rest are flatware - 1847 Rogers Bros., Charter Oak pattern and Stratford Silver Co. AXI. I cannot determine the pattern of the Stratford. I am trying to determine the value of the flatware. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. IP: Logged |

The candelabra mark sounds like it could a mark of the Birmingham Silver Co. -- with a B instead of a G. IP: Logged |
