Hello, I came across a silver ice bucket and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. The letters "K" "S" and I believe its an "h" is on it and following is a birdlike head or something. This bucket was interesting because it rocks back and forth and it opens two ways in a pulley like fashion. You open it one way and it shows the accessories (ice tongs, cork, etc.) and when you open it the other way, you will see the ice bucket....I am going to try and get it cleaned up so I can take pictures and get them on line. Any information you might have would be appreciated....Thanks.. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Since it doesn't say sterling or 925/1000 it could be silverplate. It sounds like a very interesting piece, so seeing photos would be very nice. Also closeup photos of the marks might help to date it and identify the maker. IP: Logged |
