Have a Tea/Coffee set here. Included were the tea pot coffee pot, sugar bowl with lid, creamer, and matching tray. The pattern is Heritage. Anyone have a rough idea what [..snip..]? The set is in great condition for the most part. Although the tray has a little bit of wear from usage(a couple of surface scracthes). All in all the set imo is in outstanding condition. Would appreciate any and all help on this.. thanks much [This message has been edited by Stephen (edited 05-19-2003).] IP: Logged |

Welcome to the Silver Salon Forums. Everyone would appreciate it if you would register (click here). Depending on the infomation you are seeking, it might help if you would post (or e-mail me) a closeup photo of the marks (and item). On the Silver Salon Forums we do not provide estimates or valuations. If you need the services of a professional appraiser in your area click here You aren't really clear about what other information you might like to know or why. Also since this post really has nothing to do with curating (originally in Ask A Curator), we are moving it to the General Silver Forum (click here). If you are trying to sell your set then please do a post in the For Sale Forum (click here). IP: Logged |

"Heritage" was a silverplate pattern, patented in 1953 by the International Silver Co. The five pieces you describe were shown in their 1958 catalog and sold as a set. Matching flatware (silverplate) was also made. What is the mark on your items -- 1847 Rogers Bros.? IP: Logged |

eBay online auction is a quick and easy reference source for current values --at least on eBay. Click below for recent selling prices of pieces of "1847 Heritage" Click here IP: Logged |
