Hello, I have a few questions. I was given by my Aunt a Rogers Silverware 8 settings in its original silverware chest and in it there is still the warranty that it is good to keep the tarnish away. It is in mint condition and the only thing I know about it is that it is the "First Love" pattern. I would like to get the dessert forks if they are available. Thank you, IP: Logged |

The First Love pattern (flatware and holloware) was introduced by the International Silver Co. in 1937. The flatware was marked "1847 ROGERS BROS IS". Some serving pieces were also marked with the pattern name. It was the all-time best seller for 1847 Rogers Bros. -- and now considered very collectible by some. They did make a 6.25 inch dessert fork, also known as a chipped-beef fork. Used ones are available. Hope this helps! [This message has been edited by Stephen (edited 03-31-2003).] IP: Logged |

You might find some success trying one of the replacement companies for the pieces you're looking for. There are many that provide this service. They'll send you a list (free) of the pieces that they have available in your pattern. Happy hunting! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Checkinga list of pieces currently available at a replacement service. With "Korea" noted in the listing,it appears replacement pieces are currently being made in Korea. IP: Logged |

Does anyone know if the ones from Korea are marked differently? IP: Logged |
