Handled! Thanks! Now... about the tea set, can you approximate the age by the info in the pics? I know about the Meriden/Rogers Bros. temporary aquisition and the resulting "1847 Rogers Bros." changes, but the stamps on the bottoms of these pieces show "XXX ROGERS BROS." which I'm not familiar with. Thanks for all your help. I'll try not to be a pain anymore. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Rainwater indicates that the mark shown in your photo was used from 1900 to 1917. Circa 1908 (about the same time that other manufacturers introduced Colonial pattern flatware) sounds reasonable. Hope this helps.

Bodda Bim, Bodda Boom, Baby! Thank you for your research! I appreciate the time you gave me. NOW...anybody have the Waste Bowl or Coffee Pot? How about the "Tipper"? Thanks, again, ------------------ [This message has been edited by Stephen (edited 04-12-2003).] IP: Logged |

It looks to me like you have the coffee pot, not the teapot. [This message has been edited by Stephen (edited 04-12-2003).] IP: Logged |
