Here is a little silver-plated cup, I believe it is French.
Height: 8 cm or 3-1/8 inches. Width: 6.5 cm or 2-1/2 inches. Weight: 99 grams. Who is the maker, where was it made, and how old is it? IP: Logged |

Stephen, I found a few more books on the french marks, but I'll guess it's just for the sterling. (This is no walk in the park... It'll take me a while to digest all this. The french need an equivalent of the EPNS book that I have for the Old Sheffield Plate and Close Plate maker's marks.) ------------------ IP: Logged |

Stephen, please see my last note posted to Metal Alliage Blanc. I'll ask them all our silverplate questions. After going through the bibliographies of my newest reference books, I also find that there are some more books to try locate that look promising. ------------------ IP: Logged |
