Can anyone please help me identify this mark from my description: within a square, a crowned figure on a plinth with arm raised (a bit like the Statue of Liberty). To the left, the letters O and L above each other, to the right the letter I. It appears on some dessert spoons along with another mark "60 GR" also in a square. Very many thanks. IP: Logged |

It sounds like Liberty L'Orfèvrerie S.A. of Sablé-sur-Sarthe, France. A small firm founded in the 1920's, they have specialized in silverplating flatware and holloware of traditional design since 1958. IP: Logged |
