I have a service of 8 including large server fork and spoon and pie server stamped from national silver company. It has a rose pattern on them still in original box (very tattered). A guy at a pawn shop told me they were from the 1920's but refused to tell me any other info on them because I wouldn't sell them to him for $500.00. If you know any ifo please contact me at
wilsonbrat@hotmail.com

thank you

Leca, since this is a public forum, it would be unfair to others to answer your post in email.

National Silver Co. produced a great many patterns in silverplate, sterling and stainless steel. Several of them are or may be "rose pattern", depending on your conception of the pattern, but none of those are listed as being introduced in the 1920's. I suggest you do some research on the internet on National Silver Co.'s products. You can start with
http://www.replacements.com/silver/NTS.htm

Few patterns in even pristine condition would bring $500. a set from a dealer, so either you missed out on the deal of the century, or... ;-D
