I have a footed silver serving dish with a lid that rotates open. The only mark I can find is H & H each in a circle with a bird of some kind in the fourth circle. Under that is the letter D and under that the numbers 5 2 0. There are no other marks that I can find. The legs of the piece are fashioned into ram heads and the bottom of each foot is a hoof. Can anyone tell me what any of that means??? Thank you. IP: Logged |

Your piece was electroplated and marked by Hukin & Heath of Birmingham, England. 520 is the catalogue number. IP: Logged |

From everything I've seen, Dresser really wasn't a ram's head and hoof kind of guy. There's somoe other interesting posts here in the Forums about Dresser... Dresser experts, SPEAK UP! IP: Logged |
