i have a tea set made by philip ashberry and sons it has the numerals4361 on the bottom with a t underneath above the makers name is what appears to be a paw holding a flag can anybody help me with date IP: Logged |

Generally with silverplate a mark can not be used to determine date. Only after seeing the style, shape and design of the items can we figure out a date consistent with the use of the mark, if we are familiar with the mark. Asberry is one that rings no bells and I can not find it in my reference books. Which really don't cover Bristish plate very well. So, please post a photo of the set from which someone here may be able to figure out an age. IP: Logged |
