I inherited a set of 1847 Rogers Bros silver from my grandmother. I'm trying to find out the pattern? It is not floral or ornate. The base of the handle on each piece looks like the base of a celery stalk...four overlapping "branches", two going out to each side with the two outer edge branches overlapping the inner two and heading up toward the neck. The set seem to be in good condition, though there is no large serving fork so I may be missing a piece or two. There are eight each of spoons, knives and 2 sets of forks, 2 lg and 1 small serving spoon, butter knife and sugar spoon(?). I also have two sets of 4 teaspoons - also 1847, and floral that I'd like to identify. Thanks for any help. IP: Logged |

Hi without a picture, it is very hard to identify a pattern. Sounds a bit like Queen Anne aka St. Moritz and also like Silhouette. But there are probably others that would fit this description. IP: Logged |
