I have a silverplate coffee and tea service given to my grandmother as a wedding present circa 1909. On the tray it has a hallmark identifying it as being made by Human (or Himan) Mfg. Co., made in USA. The number 1206 special metal 20 is on the tray. On the other pieces it has the same hallmark, number 2237 special metal 20 on the bottoms of the pieces. Can anyone help me with any other information about this set so I can pass it along to my grandson. Thanks IP: Logged |

I'm sure it is Homan Mfg Co. out of Cincinnati OH. That company was very active in that time period. You can do an internet search and find out all about them. I have a few Homan pieces and find the quality very good! IP: Logged |
