I would love to obtain a complete set of the Rogers Bros Vintage. Could someone tell me what pieces was in this set? Thanks!

There is a book called 'Grape Nuts' by Suzy MacLachlan which deals with the subject. It was reprinted about 12 years ago by Roger Hubka. You might do a search for the title at eBay and Amazon. It is a very good and thorough job done over 35 years ago. Good luck finding it, Dale

PS In Vintage there are over 100 distinct items.

Wow, I was waaaaay off. I thought there was only 32 pieces. But, then again, I know absolutely nothing about this. Think I seen the #32 somewheres on the net. I'll try getting ahold of that book. Thanks again Dale.

I am having a hard time finding the book, I'll check with my library this week. Does anyone know what the box/chest looks like that the silverware would have come in? Thanks again!

Actually, old silverware did not have a box. It was sold in groups of six pieces. Place settings were invented in the late 1920's. People bought 6 forks which were delivered in a cloth holder.

On the book, I am not sure where to get a copy. I have had mine for over 30 years. I might suggest trying the major silverplate dealers. Ruth Mosunic probably could help on this, she is a really nice lady.

Ok, thanks Dale. I have seen those boxes like yours, but didn't know if there was a chest. Guess it doesn't matter which chest I get for them then. Thanks again! You've been a great help.
