I recently aquired what appears to be a bud vase. On the bottom it has the letters "EPNS" which I believe is electroplate nickel silver. Part way around the base from that is a number 3535 and a little further are 3 marks the first being 2 crossed hammers in a circle, the second are the letters s o p in lower case written inside a "w" overlayed with a "C". the third is what appears to be a wolfs head looking to your left with its tounge hanging out. That is the best descriptions I can give at the moment. Can any one help me identify this item? Thanks Leonard IP: Logged |

Hello Leonard and welcome to the Forum. Can you post a picture of the item? Please read the guidelines on posting pics. Although even with a picture, I'm unlikely to be able to assist on silverplate, I suspect those who can help would greatly appreciate a picture Best Rgds, TBC IP: Logged |

The maker was Wilcox Silver Plate Company of Meriden CT; in business under that name (as a part of International Silver) until 1961. IP: Logged |
